August 23, 2024A small, but well-established life sciences company is hiring for a Controller. They develop their own diagnostic tests and help some of the largest pharmaceutical companies in clinical trials. This hire will be responsible for reporting, month-end close, GAAP compliance and all budgeting & forecasting.
This position is an individual contributor role with no direct reports. Candidates are expected to have financial leadership experience, as this is subject to change in the future and this hire will also be in charge of major financial decisions.
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a finance related field
- 3+ years of financial leadership experience
- An entrepreneurial mindset and a record of making effective financial decision
- Excellent oral communication and presentation skills
Nice to have:
- Healthcare, life sciences or startup experience
- Familiarity with clinical trial billing
