A Construction & Development company in New Rochelle is seeking an experienced Health & Safety Manager to join their growing team. As a key member of their team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring compliance with safety regulations, developing and implementing effective safety programs, and promoting a culture of safety. You'll be travelling to sites around Greater NYC, with flexibility to work remote outside of that.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct safety audits and inspections to identify hazards and risks.
- Develop and implement comprehensive safety policies and procedures.
- Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and prevent recurrence.
- Train employees on safety protocols and emergency procedures.
- Manage workers' compensation claims and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Promote a positive safety culture through communication and engagement.
Preferred Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health or related field.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and regulations.
- Experience in developing and implementing safety programs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
