Project Accountant

August 21, 2024A construction company in Schiller Park, IL is looking for a Project Accountant to join their team (they've been voted one of Chicago's best places to work!). In this role, you will be responsible for managing project budgets and costs, analyzing project financials, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards. This is a full-time direct hire role (not available for C2C).
This is an established accounting team that is looking to bring on another project accountant due to growth. This company is growing rapidly and the structure and work / life balance flexibility is excellent.
Location: Hybrid in Schiller Park, IL (3x on site)
Salary: Up to 90K DOE
Requirements:
- 2+ years of project accounting experience
- Experience with the desired software (Procore, Sage, etc) or something similar
- Experience with lien waivers
- Experience with project billing
Pluses:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Certified payroll experience
