Staff Accountant

December 4, 2024A third generation family owned company whose customers include Fortune 500 Companies and government agencies is looking to bring on a Staff Accountant. This hire will assist the Controller in all aspects of the accounting life cycle including month-end close, financial reporting and variance analysis.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in a role involving full life-cycle General Ledger accounting and financial statement preparation
- Ability to work alongside the Controller to conduct variance analysis and P&L
- Knowledge of fixed assets
- Proficiency in Excel
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to problem solve, take on new responsibilities, and self-motivate
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
Nice to Have:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- SAP experience
- Proficiency in Macros
- Manufacturing or Government Contracting industry experience
