Applications Engineer

A precision device company building AI / ML and Computer Vision Algorithm technologies for the Department of Defense is looking for an Applications Engineer to join their team.
In this role, you would be responsible for creating new assembly designs for the company’s electrical and mechanical engineering manufacturing processes. You will be able to take ownership of PLM and PDM for the engineering/manufacturing life cycle. You will also be responsible for providing the sales team with quotes for products by distinguishing materials, shipping, time, and other potential costs for the project. Due to the nature of their work, you must be a U.S. Citizen and be willing to obtain a Security Clearance to be eligible for this role.

Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship
- 3+ years of professional experience in an Applications Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical/Mechanical Engineer role or a similar position
- Expert with PDM (Product Data Management) and PLM (Product Lifecycle Management)
- Strong experience with product configuration
- Previous experience supporting sales teams by assisting with quotes
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or similar fields
Pluses:
- Experience with SolidWorks PDM as this is the tool the company uses, would be a big plus.
- Experience with other CAD software (AutoCAD, Solid Edge, SketchUp, etc.)
- Experience in robotics, defense, or similar industries
- Security Clearance
- Previous experience in a startup environment


Field Service Representative

In this role, you would be responsible for post-sale training, demonstration, modification, and implementation of their solutions throughout the United States and abroad. This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, U.S. passport, and driver’s license.
This position is full-time and on-site in Littleton with frequent travel to field sites. Our client offers full benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401k with match, competitive bonus structure, continuous training, and more!
Qualifications:
- U.S. citizenship
- 5+ years of professional experience with technical field assignments
- Previous experience working with technical equipment/hardware doing repairs, electrical or mechanical engineering, etc.
- Must have the ability to move objects over 50lbs.
- Familiarity with Windows, iOS, and Linux systems
Pluses:
- Previous military experience
- Knowledge of weaponry
- Experience working within a start-up environment
- Inventory management experience
