December 24, 2024A growing non-profit in Somerville is looking to add an Accounting Manager to its team. They are a public-private partnership that provides a variety of services to help businesses find qualified workers and job seekers find employment. This position will report directly to the Controller and CFO. The Accounting manager will have a clear path for growth and eventually reach the controller level. This hire will be responsible for grant management, general accounting, and preparation of financial statements.
Requirements
- 4+ years of either public accounting experience or prior exposure to grant accounting or grant management in the non-profit space
- Ability to be in the office 3 days a week
- Strong ability to work within Excel (VLOOKUPS and PivotTable)
Nice to have
- Strong understanding of GAAP and OMB Uniform Guidance for grants management.
- CPA is preferred
- Experience with Blackbaud or comparable grant management reporting software
