We are looking for an analytical mind, someone who can participate in month end close, but is also excited by the opportunity to review data and reports to help the company make smart decisions moving forward.

Assistant Controller
A well endowed college in the heart of Boston is looking to add an Assistant Controller to their growing team. Reporting to the Controller, you will be performing month-end close, reconciling eight bank accounts and preparing journal entries and financial statements. This role offers a hybrid work schedule after onboarding and the opportunity to move into a management role.
Must Have:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- 4+ years of experience in a general ledger accounting role
- Ability to perform month-end closes, perform complex journal entries and financial statements, and reconcile multiple bank accounts at a time
Nice to Have:
- Experience in public accounting or higher education

Controller - Property Management
This well established property management company is hiring for a Controller. The company oversees about $100M across several location. As the Controller, you'll have 3 people reporting into you and responsible for reviewing and understanding transactions, reviewing general ledger, monitor monthly budget and cash management and reconciliation whenever necessary. Longer term, you'll be enforcing policies and procedures for reporting to increase efficiency.
Must Have Skills
- 5+ years in property management
- 3+ years as a people manager
- Experience with Excel and some property management tool (RealPage, Yardi, MRI, AppFolio, etc.)

Senior Accountant
A mission driven company in Boston is hiring for a full-time Senior Accountant to join their growing team. This hire will work alongside the Controller and CFO to assist in all aspects of the accounting life cycle including month-end close, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and analysis. CPA or Public Accounting experience is highly preferred, although not required.
*This role is primarily remote with the occasional need to come into their Boston office 1 day a week
Required:
- 3+ years of professional accounting experience
- In-depth knowledge of GAAP principles and all stages of the accounting lifecycle
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or similar field of study
- Previous experience working with Quickbooks, Netsuite, Sage, MS Dynamics or similar
Nice to have:
- Active CPA or work toward obtaining a CPA
- Prior experience in both public and corporate accounting
- An interest working within a mission driven organization that's making a positive impact in the lives of their customers
