This is open to a full-time or part time/ contract basis. The role will be a hybrid position working 4 days onsite in in the Loop (near the Board of Trade building ). You’d be primarily on-site as you get up to speed, then allowing some more flexibility down the line.
Responsibilities:
- Configure, deploy, fine-tune, monitor, maintain, upgrade, troubleshoot, support and repair the network as required.
- Perform regular network and firewall monitoring to identify potential intrusions or high utilizations.
- Respond to automated monitors and alerts to troubleshoot issues networks
- Test and validate all new hardware, software, and connections for proper configurations and performance.
Requirements: 1+ years of Network experience (can be flexible to more senior candidates as they are ideally looking to bring on multiple engineers). Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Networking, or related field
