Tax Senior / Manager
Growing oil and gas production company is looking for a Tax Senior or Tax Manager. This company boasts outstanding benefits (401K with match, 4 weeks vacation, bonus, only one day per week in office, and more), opportunity to grow and have internal promotions (this position is designed to have multiple levels promotion), and an empowered and autonomous work environment.
You will be responsible for working on federal and state income tax, property tax, sales and use tax, ad valorem tax. Research and application of new standards, investigation and resolutions of unusual transactions, etc.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of Tax experience if coming in as a Tax Senior, 5+ years if coming in as a Tax Manager
- Experience working in the oil and gas industry (whether internal or with clients at a public firm)
- CPA or on track towards receiving the certification
- Motivated to grow your career, self-directed

What You'll Do: As a Full-Desk Recruiter, you will play a crucial role in both business development and recruiting activities across multiple spaces such as Technical, Accounting, Legal and more. Your responsibilities will include:
- Sales Prospecting: Researching and targeting prospective clients to create opportunities for introducing our staffing solutions.
- New Business Development: Identifying and cultivating relationships with potential clients through cold calling, networking, and lead generation.
- Persuasion & Negotiation: Effectively communicating our services, and negotiating contract terms to secure new business.
- Full-Cycle Sales: Managing the sales process from initial contact to closure.
- Full-Cycle Recruiting: Sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates to match with client needs, from initial contact to offer acceptance.
