Fund Accounting Manager

Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Fund Accounting Manager to join our finance team. This role will be critical in overseeing the accounting operations and financial reporting for our investment funds. The ideal candidate will bring deep fund accounting expertise, a CPA designation, and a strong understanding of the alternative investment landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage all aspects of fund accounting for multiple venture capital funds, including quarterly and annual financial statements, investor reporting, capital calls, and distributions
• Review and oversee work prepared by fund administrators, ensuring accuracy and compliance with partnership agreements and GAAP
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and custodians to ensure timely and accurate reporting and filings
• Work closely with the investment team to understand deal activity and ensure accurate transaction recording
• Oversee valuation processes and maintain up-to-date records of portfolio company performance
• Support LP inquiries and ad hoc reporting needs
• Assist in implementing process improvements and financial controls
• Maintain current knowledge of regulatory and industry developments affecting fund structures and accounting
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required
• Minimum 5+ years of professional experience, with recent and relevant expertise in fund accounting
• Experience in the alternative investment space required, with direct exposure to one or more of the following:
• Venture Capital
• Private Equity
• Infrastructure
• Renewable Energy Assets
• Real Assets or Natural Resources
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and partnership accounting
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Prior experience at a Big 4 accounting firm is a plus

Corporate Paralegal



Highly regarded national law firm with a strong presence across key U.S. markets is seeking a Senior Corporate Paralegal dedicated to providing sophisticated legal services to a diverse clientele while playing a vital role in supporting attorneys on complex transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions (M&A), private equity, venture capital, securities, and corporate governance. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in corporate law, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities:
- Due diligence, document preparation, corporate record maintenance, and client communication
- Manage capitalization tables and track equity compensation using platforms like Carta, Pulley, AngelList, and ShareWorks
- Draft and file corporate documents, including entity formations, amendments, mergers, and dissolutions
- Conduct thorough due diligence, reviewing and summarizing contracts and corporate records
- Prepare closing certificates, board and stockholder resolutions, and other transactional documents, including those related to M&A
- Assist in the preparation of SEC filings (e.g., Forms S-1, 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K) and Blue Sky/securities filings
- Coordinate with third parties for filings and ensure compliance with reporting deadlines
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience as a Paralegal, specifically with Mergers & Acquisitions, Emerging Companies and Venture Capital (ECVC), Private Equity, and Securities
- Experience with any of the following document management platforms: iManage, Worldox or Clio
- Proficient with e-signature software such as Docusign, SignNow, or Adobe Acrobat Sign
- Familiarity with deal management software such as AngelList, Carta, Share Works, or Pulley is ideal
- Working knowledge of standard regulations and compliance such as SEC reporting, Blue Sky compliance, and/or UCC filings
- Bachelor’s degree required, Paralegal Certification is ideal
Base salary $120,000 - $140,000.

Systems Analyst



An established real estate firm is looking to add an IT Systems Analyst to their team! You would be on a team that manages IT support and handles the maintenance of the company's IT infrastructure. A large portion of the role involves supporting their Property Management System.
Location: Washington DC area
Salary: 80-85K DOE!
Requirements:
- 3+ years experience of IT support or help desk
Pluses:
- Experience with routers, switches, and firewalls
- Experience with Property Management software like Yardi, Realpage, etc


IP Litigation Paralegal



A mid-sized law firm with a global reach is seeking a highly motivated and experienced IP Litigation Paralegal to join their team.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support to a team of attorneys in all phases of complex intellectual property litigation.
- Conduct legal research, including online and library research.
- Prepare and organize legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and exhibits.
- Assist with document review and production.
- Manage deadlines and calendars.
- Coordinate with clients and outside vendors.
- Assist with trial preparation, including witness preparation and exhibit organization.
- May involve limited travel for trials (generally 1-2 times per year).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 5+ years of paralegal experience in litigation (IP experience preferred but not required for highly qualified candidates).
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in legal research databases and Microsoft Office Suite.

Our client is a leading law firm in the D.C. area, they are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Patent Agent or Patent Attorney to join their team of Patent experts.
Qualifications and Must Haves:
- Doctorate (Ph.D.) degree in molecular biology, biochemistry, biomedical sciences or closely related field.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a patent attorney or patent agent
- Must be registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office as a Patent Attorney or Patent Agent.
- Relocation Assistance within the US provided for the ideal candidate, if outside of the Washington D.C. area
