BAS Project Manager
We have partnered with an engineering firm that provides industry-leading BAS controls expertise and unique hands-on project delivery. They offer a full range of services including HVAC/BAS control system design, energy optimization, project development, and field engineering to clients in the higher education, hospital, biotech, pharma, and mission-critical industries. This rapidly growing firm is looking to add another Project Manager to their NYC team.
Role Responsibilities:
- Managing and delivering high-quality BAS projects.
- Managing a team of experienced engineering professionals.
- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets for BAS installation, upgrades, or optimization projects.
- Coordinate with clients, in-house engineers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and objectives.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, keeping them informed of project progress and addressing concerns.
- Maintain detailed project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and change orders.
- Manage project budgets and approve expenditures to keep costs within agreed limits.
- Conduct final walkthroughs and system demonstrations for clients.
- Prepare project closeout documents, including as-built drawings, operation manuals, and training for the client's team.
You'd be a great fit if you:
- Understand BAS components, including HVAC controls, sensors, actuators, and software integration.
- Have experience with BAS project delivery, BAS engineering, MEP design, commissioning, retro-commissioning, or building energy projects.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest BAS technologies, tools, and trends to bring innovative solutions to future projects.
- Bring a "white glove" approach to project management.
Location: Midtown Manhattan
Compensation:
- $130,000 - $165,000 base salary

This role involves hands-on project management, from budgeting to quality control, as well as ensuring accurate cost estimation, resource allocation, and timely project completion to meet client expectations.
