Title: VP of Accounting
Location: 5x a week on-site in Torrance, CA
Compensation: $190k-$240k in base salary DOE + bonuses & full range of benefits including monthly car allowance
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in accounting (in-house corporate preferred)
- 4+ years of experience in leading accounting/finance teams - including managerial-level reports
- Experience overseeing accounting operations for multi-site retail locations with revenues of $100M - $500M+
- CPA license is required (active or inactive is ok)

Responsibilities:

BAS Project Manager
We have partnered with an engineering firm that provides industry-leading BAS controls expertise and unique hands-on project delivery. They offer a full range of services including HVAC/BAS control system design, energy optimization, project development, and field engineering to clients in the higher education, hospital, biotech, pharma, and mission-critical industries. This rapidly growing firm is looking to add another Project Manager to their NYC team.
Role Responsibilities:
- Managing and delivering high-quality BAS projects.
- Managing a team of experienced engineering professionals.
- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets for BAS installation, upgrades, or optimization projects.
- Coordinate with clients, in-house engineers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and objectives.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, keeping them informed of project progress and addressing concerns.
- Maintain detailed project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and change orders.
- Manage project budgets and approve expenditures to keep costs within agreed limits.
- Conduct final walkthroughs and system demonstrations for clients.

A mid-sized tax firm in Worcester, MA is looking to add a Tax Manager to the team. They specialize in mid-sized corporations and high-net-worth individuals. This hire will be brought on as a Tax Manager but will be set on the path for Partner in the near future. They are a team-oriented company that fosters a culture of collaboration and communication. In this position, you will be reporting directly to the 4 partners and working closely with the managing partner. You will be responsible for overseeing the tax statements of 4-5 individuals and making sure they are prepared for the partners signature, as well as preparing your own for their signature.

- 5+ of related experience of taxation at a public accounting firm
- Experience preparing and reviewing federal, state, or corporate tax returns
- Ability to be in the office for a minimum of 3 days a week
