What You'll Do:
- Play a key role in their accounting operations, including production accounting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close.
- Analyze data, identify discrepancies, and implement effective solutions.
- Work closely with their production and shipping system, ensuring accurate data entry and analysis that integrates seamlessly with their accounting platform.
- Act as a backup for various accounting functions, offering valuable cross-training opportunities.
What You'll Bring:
- At least two years of experience in accounting or a comparable field.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration.
- Proven experience in full-cycle accounting, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Proficiency in Excel. Experience with pivot tables and/or VLOOKUP functions is a bonus
- Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively.
- Adaptability to new systems.
- Experience with integrated production/shipping is a plus.
